Demotivated by the stupidity of the modern workplace

We’ve all felt like we’re sinking at work. Too many meetings. Too many e-mails and too many conflicting priorities etc.

As leaders in the technology industry there is a real risk that we think the antidote to this chaos is looking for so called “10x” engineers & developers.

The best response I saw today came from David Heinemeier Hansson who said:
“The real 10x is in the environment, not the individual contributor. The world is full of capable, creative people who’d make that 10x jump if only they weren’t being trapped and demotivated by the stupidity of the modern workplace.”
